Budget doesn't have human beings answer the 800 cust. service no. after 7:30PM! that;s right a national car rental comp, so if you have problems with your car NO ONE TO SPEAK TO. want AI instead? a tow though that is not what you are calling about - those are your choices after 7:30. And, no notice when you rent a Tesla that the charging cord is NOT in the car, but can be found only at the Tesla charge station. How would a renter know that? Not in the Tesla driver's manual, not on the rental receipt, no number to call where someone from Budget can tell you that (and when I did the next day talk at 800 no,. that person didn't have a clue herself. ps - the office staff themselves where helpful and fair.

There was a 45 minute wait at the counter and another 1 hr wait to actualy get a car. I ended up waiting about 2 hrs from arriving at the car rental counter to actually getting a car. The car itself was fine and the return was smooth and fast.

What a scam. The rental cost I locked online more than doubled after they added their fees and CA taxes - the counter agent also lied and said liability was required in CA but it’s not if you have your own. She also said it was cheaper to have them refuel. Not even close. I am waiting for a resolution but wouldn’t rent from them again.

I was told I'd have a large van and was given a mini-van. The cost I agreed to was in the $900 range. I called ahead to be sure they had the van and also that they confirmed the price. When I arrived to pick it up, after waiting nearly 2 hours in line, I was charged upwards of $1600. I would never have agreed to this and found another option, however, my family was all arriving that day for a very important event and all of it depended upon having a van - and the van we received was not large enough and did not match the van that I reserved online.

Horrible customer service. Was told that I needed to wait to be called up in the queue when there was no one in line, which was shared between Thrifty kiosk. They should create two lines to decrease confusion. Representative was incredibly rude and short. They didn’t have the car I reserved and offered me a supposedly equivalent car which was fine but didn’t tell me that I would have to manually charge this car in order to benefit from the electric/hybrid option of the car. Ended up spending a lot on gas when I intentionally booked a hybrid to save money on gas.

Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Car was clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Great experience. The only problem was with Enterprise itself. I was going to be arriving right at my dropoff time, which was also when the office was supposed to close, and wanted to make sure they knew I was arriving. When I tried calling, I was routed to a general Enterprise phone system and had no way of routing my call to the actual branch where I was dropping off. The automated message told me the office was closed, even though it was before the time when the branch actually closed. Caused unnecessary stress, but it worked out in the end.
