Pros (+) Excellent downtown location! Steps from the Malecon. The park across the street had entertainment on the stage Friday and Saturday nights. We sat at the park for some and went to the hotel rooftop for the rest. Flea market in the park Saturday mornings with great food and other offerings. Wonderful views from the rooftop.
Cons (-) Noise from the bar next door continued until at least 11:00 at night. We were on the third floor in room 304 and it was loud enough to keep us up. Small room with old furnishings and torn pillows, but that's what I expected from a budget hotel 1/2-block from the bay. Both pools are small and not for swimming.
