The price was really good, but after reservation, they charged extra to add my spouse. I've never paid extra for a spouse to drive before. Also, catching their shuttle at the airport was stressful because the included instructions are incorrect. The numbering system at the curb has changed and they need to update that on the email they send out. We asked a different shuttle driver and he helped us figure it out. Also, getting a live person on the phone, and especially one at your correct location, is difficult.
They have the wrong address for their pickup location so I had to drive for half an hour to finally find thier location which would have been a 5 minute drive. That was incredibly annoying. Also the office is managed by a single person and it took a bit to get service. The booking was supposed to be all inclusive but I ended up paying 160 something dollars extra for things that were not part of the initial deal like extra insurance, which I had already paid. Prepaid tolls for like 75 which is absurd, and I also had to put a 2k hold on my credit card. The car wasn't great, it was ok for what I needed, but it had low tire pressure sensor alarm going off frequently. It didn't seem like they pay attention to details that should be important. Like having their address correct, if they just moved, and minimum safety precautions like the tires.
They charged me an extra $100 and its been a month and no one can tell me why this charge was added
The Good: NICE newer car. Pickup van had air conditioning in it. The Bad: #1) not the smoothest start, as the instructions are on the email, to call as you get to the arrival area. BUT, the area was many sections away from where one would typically be. They wanted A11, but we started around A40! #2) Their setup area was terrible. Slower, due to many hidden fees (Insurance for if the company can't use the car)! I have NEVER heard of that one. $20/day. #3) Other hidden fees, include the tolls. Either you get fined a maintenance fee for EACH toll at $25 plus the toll, or take the $16/day unlimited toll rate. No other options are available. #4) Hidden HOLD fees which decrease as you take the other hidden fees! Either $1000 or around $150. Very drastic! #5) We were told that we should drop the car off at another location, but upon doing so were told that they had not moved yet and had to go back to the original location. (Which took extra time.) #6) What are they Flexways? Actually my information shows Szega, or something else like that! 🤷🏾♂️ #7) A very dirty bathroom existed for patrons. Toilet didn't flush. #8) Our pickup guy asked to wait for 2 minutes once he got in from dropping off other persons, but took more than 5 minutes...in the dirty bathroom. #9) They dropped us off in the pickup location (IN ARRIVALS)! We were departing Florida, though. Why wouldn't we be taken to Departures? 🤷🏾♂️ I will NEVER use them again. It was a very tedious process, and gave me a very bad feeling on enting a vehicle. What started around $105, doubled to $215.
Complete bait-and-switch with regard to the price. We paid hundreds more than advertised. Pick-up took over an hour, working primarily with one agent, who was not adequately trained and provided wrong information that other agents corrected. Would never book with them or through kayak again for car rental. Terrible experience.
Had an emergency and couldn’t rent. I went into app and couldn’t cancel either, and they still charged me.
