Friendly staff, car was spotlessly clean. Helpful driving tips given by shuttle bus driver. Chase the bus by phone, it is not every 15 minutes! The only gripe is that the vehicle selected on Kayak was a small estate, but that does not translate to the hire fleet exactly, so we ended up with a smaller vehicle than expected (boot size anyway) luckily we had one less person than expected so could still fit our luggage in.

Very welcome and friendly staff and drivers. Highly recommended.
The front desk was really efficient and super polite. He even gave us info about gas stations etc. The pickup was efficient as well. They are the closest to terminal and have a staff member 24/7 at the pickup location as well. Car was in excellent condition. To compare with Hertz next to them: - they don't upsell (Hertz even forced an "upgrade" to a worse car on me because I was 1h late to pick up due to flight delay). I actually requested an upgrade and they only charged 5 euros/day vs try to force me into a more expensive car - they don't nit-pick on scratches etc AND they inspect on the spot (vs surprises after) - Super polite.

All went smoothly picking up car as Budget is just outside airport exit. When I returned the car the Budget representative had a quick walk around the car, checked fuel was full and said all looks good. None of the normal pointing out marks that were already on the car and me having to pull out my photos from pickup to prove damage was already on the car. Good Experience . Will be booking with Budget in future until I have a bad experience.

The inspection at start of rental showed more than a dozen scratches and dents of the rental car. It transpired later on first day that car made noise when braking. Suspect damage or non existent brake pad at rear which limited the amount of travel in the car that we felt comfortable undertaking. Given the distance and difficulty of accessing a Sixt office from the place where we were staying, we did not attempt to change out the vehicle during the period of rental. Switch of main beam light did not work.

I got more than I expected. I was greeted by a person right in the airport, he took us directly to the car, helped with luggage, helped us with the safety seats for the kids. Once we were good to go, he sent us on our way. Same on the return. We arrived to the arrival platform where we were greeted by an employee, he helped unload the car, checked that everything was in order, that nothing was forgotten and took the car. WAY easier than what I usually deal with. The car wasn't new, nor in mint condition. But it was also cheap and really spacious. So all in all, we were very happy with the service.

Our experience from the off was poor due to the fact that I ordered a vehicle that carried 4 adults and 4 suitcases fortunate that I was the only one with a standard sized large case, we could only fit this and a small case in the boot the vehicle was way too small the advert for the vehicle stated that you could fit 4 adults and 4 suitcases so we had to drive down the road with cases on passengers in the vehicle, there was no one to assist in this. Sorry but not acceptable.

Terrible from the beginning to the end: when I arrived the car category I selected wasn’t available. They gave me another one for extra fees, that was too small for My family. When I came back, it took them more than 30 minutes to give me my authorization back because they didn’t know if it was a positive or negative balance, even if I said I paid everything at the beginning. Europcar manager even treat me of « layer » before they finally gave me my money back. I really shame, incompetence with no customer consideration.
