Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, which is central and convenient for exploring York, with many appreciating the views and proximity to attractions. Some reviewers found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and a few mentioned comfortable rooms and good amenities. However, cleanliness was a major concern for many, with reports of dirty rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Bed comfort also received negative feedback, with several guests describing uncomfortable or worn beds. Bathrooms were often noted as spacious or well-equipped, but issues like cracked tiles and lack of toiletries were mentioned. Overall, while the location and some aspects of service were highlights, cleanliness and comfort need improvement.
