Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guest reviews for this hotel are mixed. Many guests appreciate the convenient location, especially for visiting Sequoia National Park and local attractions, and some mention good value for the price. However, there are repeated complaints about cleanliness issues, including dirty rooms and bathrooms, as well as negative experiences with noise, particularly from the nearby highway and disruptive guests. Service is also a concern for several guests, with reports of unhelpful or unfriendly staff and problems with room requests or disturbances from cleaning staff. Overall, while the location is a highlight, improvements in cleanliness, noise control, and service are needed.

I had to check out immediately after checking in. There were stains on the bedding and the lamp shade. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The a/c was literally a light switch. Since I booked “non-refundable” I got no money back but the photos are very misleading as i...

Pros (+) Everything! The place was charming and definitely value for money
Cons (-) The restaurant, never knew pork chops could be that bad :(

Mediocre
Gerald, Apr 2018
Cons (-) Noise throughout the night coming from outside our door - people joking and smoking followed by a car alarm that repeatedly started going off around 4am. Worst night/morning ever.

Arlene, Apr 2017
Pros (+) The price was fair and reasonable. The internet was free and front staff was very courteous and pleasant and let me stay a couple hours longer than my required checkout. The bed was also really comfortable.
Cons (-) The rooms were outdated. The cleaning manager had knocked on my door after l had a Do Not Disturb sign she was unaware that I had an extended check out. It was disturbing because I was in the middle of a meeting for work. Maybe she should have checked with the front desk first instead of making me open the door. Also quite a bit noisy in the early morning hours with the cleaning.

Pros (+) It's an older hotel but I would have spent an extra 10 to have a thermostat at a regular spot.
Cons (-) Doesn't seem like they care about comfort. It could be a decent place.
