Our beautifully preserved Manse House now offers individual guest rooms where centuries of character blend seamlessly with contemporary comfort. For those seeking something truly unique, our bespoke shipping container guest rooms, designed and built by renowned Scottish company Iron and Pine, provide a striking modern retreat set within our peaceful grounds. Each morning and evening, guests gather in our elegant Drawing Room for a spectacular freshly prepared Breakfast showcasing the finest Highland produce, fuelling the day's explorations that await just beyond your door. This beautifully appointed relaxation space becomes your home-from-home throughout your stay - settle into comfortable seating with a book, plan tomorrow's adventures and spend your evening unwinding accompanied by one of our specially curated Food & Drink options. Guests can enjoy a selection of Charcuterie Boards and snacks while reflecting on the days adventures, and planning what is to come with a dram (a Scottish tipple) in hand. Your four-legged companions are welcome too as pets stay completely free. Step outside and you're immediately immersed in the raw beauty of the Scottish Highlands and a wealth of local experiences. Farr Bay Beach stretches before you, a pristine expanse where otters play in the surf, whales breach offshore, and magnificent birds of prey soar overhead. Bettyhill village offers charming local shops, welcoming cafes and restaurants serving delicious local fare, and the fascinating Strathnaver Museum housed in the former church adjacent to our property. The wider area beckons with endless possibilities; dramatic cliff walks, hidden beaches, ancient archaeological sites, world-class fishing, and some of the darkest skies in Europe for stargazing and Northern Lights hunting.
