Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location, especially for events at the Utilita Bowl, and some found the rooms comfortable and clean. However, many reviews highlighted issues such as tired or shabby decor, inconsistent service, and a need for refurbishment. Breakfast was frequently criticized for being overpriced and of poor quality, and value for money was a recurring concern. Cleanliness and service received mixed feedback, with some staff described as friendly and others as unhelpful. Overall, the hotel is appreciated for its location but falls short in several key areas.

Pros (+) Hotel very nice. Food.Lunch in the sports bar excellent as was breakfast. The meal at night for the Fun at the Fair party night was served nice and hot. Quality of food was acceptable for the numbers being served.
Cons (-) Staff weren't very well informed....nobody seemed to communicate with each other on the smallest details, for instance I tried to pay for a breakfast before my spa treatment and was asked to queue at the restaurant - after a ten minute wait I was then directed back to reception where they then said they couldn't take payment....I was losing the will to live at this point...and time was running out...
