Jade Mountain Resort

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Jade Mountain Resort has comprehensive environmental policy in place. The resort has its own independent fresh water supply, treats gray water for reuse through a reed bed system, and has compost toilets on the beach. Low flush toilets and low flow shower heads have been installed to reduce water use. Fish and produce have been sourced locally to reduce food miles and products are purchased in bulk to reduce packaging waste. Jade Mountain also has strict recycling guidelines, and composts all of the hotel’s organic waste. Guests can also take part in regular activities to protect the environment, including reef cleaning and tree planting.

The concierge at Jade Mountain can organize tours and excursions with carefully selected tour guides who share their knowledge and passion for St Lucia. Embark on a Coastal Tour of the west coast on a luxury catamaran, or the Jazzy Sunset Cruise with live music, an open bar, and canapes, plus a champagne toast at sunset. Guided excursions to local rainforests, waterfalls, and rivers, as well as kayak adventures, mountain climbing, and birdwatching tours are also available. Deep sea sport fishing, and whale and dolphin watching experiences are possible throughout the year.

The hotel hosts a series of culinary events that combine an interactive cooking class with tastings and meals. These events have a focus on local ingredients such as Caribbean spices, mango, and chocolate. Wine pairing and rum tasting events are also held on a regular basis.

There’s no better place to celebrate your honeymoon than the majestic Jade Mountain Resort. The Total Romance package is the best option for lovebirds, and includes a welcome cocktail, and champagne and canapes on arrival. Guided tours, boat trips to some of the most beautiful local attractions, and a deluxe 1hr massage, are also included in the Total Romance package. If you’d like to renew your vows in a special place, the resort’s vow renewal packages include a flower arch in your chosen location, a tropical bouquet and boutonniere, champagne, and a heart-shaped cake.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion, order a colorful floral arrangement to be delivered to your room on arrival. Choose from tropical flowers, white or purple dendrobium orchids, or roses in your preferred color. VIP amenities can also include a deluxe drinks basket with rum, wine, beer and mixers, a fruit basket, assorted hors d’oeuvres, or a cheese and biscuit platter. Treat yourself to champagne and canapes, or select from the wide variety of Italian, French, Australian and American wines that can also be delivered to your room. If you would like a romantic dinner under the stars, the concierge can organize private dining at the Celestial Terrace.
