Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, historic charm, and unique atmosphere, especially for those who appreciate older homes and Victorian decor. Many found the property beautiful, well-maintained, and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens and inviting common spaces. However, several reviews highlighted issues with cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, and a lack of personal service or staff presence. Some guests also noted the check-in process was complicated and that maintenance could be improved. Overall, the positives centered on the building's character and convenient location, while negatives focused on cleanliness, service, and comfort.
