My husband and I took a ride share from our hotel to the f Pick up location which was permanently closed We then paid the driver to take us to the posted alternate location and they had no cars! After asking the employee what was going to happen I suggested we go to the airport so we paid another ride share to drop us off at the terminal return! In line at the airport they made ME call customer service to remedy the issue and get back in a long line to get the vehicle! This was a 3 hour rocess altogether and a costly experience. It was mentioned that because we booked through a 2nd party the reservation could not be changed by Budget making us feel even more dissatisfied

They called an hour and a half before pick up and canceled the reservation. This is simply unacceptable. No one should ever book anything through KAYAK or Budget.

Steve was extremely unhelpful and Budget as an organization was horrible. Confirming a reservation for me and then not providing a car at multiple locations, then making me pay for an upgrade I didn’t need or want. Budget lost a customer for sure. This was the worst customer service and car rental experience I’ve ever had or heard of. And I will see to it that none of my businesses ever work with Budget again.

The customer service in Charlotte was terrible. The woman was rude and charged me more because they did not have the car I reserved. Drop off was much better.
The price was great, but the vehicle was not good (get what you pay for). The Mirage is bottom of the barrel IMO. Inside of windshield was filthy, making it difficult to see when the sun hit it. The vehicle wasn’t ready when we arrived and we had to wait around for 45 minutes. And the vehicle wouldn’t take fuel into the tank except at a trickle. And I think they knew this and that’s why it took 45 mins for them to fill the tank.

Service was top notch., very helpful and very informative.
I reserved several weeks in advance but there were no cars available when I arrived. My options were to wait until a car was returned or call customer service to see if any other locations had inventory.
