The hotel has improved significantly over the years. The building is elegant, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The beds are excellent and you are in for a good night’s sleep. Trax bar and restaurant is excellent. The kitchen is open until 10 PM and the staff at Trax is very good. The bar area is large and it’s a good place to meet people. Pros (+) The parking was convenient to my room.
Cons (-) The walls were thin. Heard the alarm going off in the morning in the room next to me. The room was next to the ScrantonCollege Athletic field which played loud music during and event taking place (girls soccer game). Lastly the room was not very clean. The soap used from the prior guests was still in the bath tub.

Pros (+) The historic building, the way it's converted to a hospital. It gives you a good feeling.
Cons (-) Didn't have any floor mats/carpets near bathroom

Pros (+) While we enjoyed the uniqueness of the train station turned hotel, we were impressed by the staff. From the desk clerks right down to the bartender, EVERYONE made us feel at home and bent over backwards to take care of our needs. Though I could use anyone as an example, I was particularly struck by the friendliness and professionalism of one of your longtime lady bartenders (whose name escapes me)...
Cons (-) Not being able to get a receipt because I booked via Kayak with a service that you don't access directly.

Pros (+) The building was historic and located in a convienient area.
Cons (-) We booked with booking.com and the hotel had no record of our reservation. We found the prior persons dental floss in our room on the floor next to the bed. The worst part was hearing the music from the bar Kildares from across the street all night long...
