Overview

Nestled in the medieval village of Santillana del Mar, this hotel has plenty of rustic charm and picturesque views over the surrounding garden and countryside. Thanks to the Solana's great location, you can enjoy mountain, beach and culture during your holiday. The golden beaches of the Cantabrian coastline are just over 3 km away while the fine city of Santander is 20 km away and worth a daytrip. Alternatively, explore the beautiful scenery with a long country walk. Make a visit to the enchanting Altamira caves, under a kilometre from the Solana. A typical mountain-style property, the Solana is in perfect harmony with the medieval and noble villas of Santillana del Mar. Just 100 m from the main square of the village, you can enjoy views of the Santa Juliana Collegiate which dates back to the 12th century. Enjoy rustic details in the Solana's interiors such as wooden beams on the ceilings and a charming stone façade.
