Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests frequently praised the hotel's convenient location, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff, with several reviews highlighting the ease of access to nearby attractions and the welcoming service provided by employees. However, many guests were disappointed by the pool being closed or poorly maintained, which was a major draw for families. Cleanliness and maintenance issues, including mold, water damage, and general property upkeep, were also commonly cited concerns. Some guests mentioned uncomfortable beds and noise disturbances, while others enjoyed the on-site restaurant and peaceful setting. Overall, while the location and staff were standout positives, significant improvements are needed in cleanliness, maintenance, and pool facilities.

Pros (+) Thank you for an enjoyable stay in Santa Cruz. It was a good price for the level of decor and location. We liked the updated decor, the vaulted ceilings, and the grounds felt like we were at camp. Service was great.
Cons (-) The continental breakfast could be better but it is what it is.
