Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location and beautiful views, with many enjoying the scenery and proximity to attractions. However, there were frequent complaints about service, including rude or unhelpful staff and slow responses to requests. Several guests felt the hotel did not offer good value for the price, citing unexpected fees, overcharging, and high costs for parking and amenities. Cleanliness was also a concern for some, with reports of dated rooms, dirty curtains, and worn carpets. Despite these issues, some guests enjoyed comfortable rooms and the overall property ambiance.

Great trip to San Diego to run a half marathon. The Sheraton was the best place to stay. I was first given a room by the family oriented pool, which was noisy. I asked to be moved and that was done right away. The setting is great and the hotel was recently updated. Good weekend stay.

The check-in process took a ridiculously long time. The restaurant food was acceptable. However, when we went there to order food to-go, the person at the front told us to ask the bartender, yet the bar was jam-packed. I don't know why he couldn't have taken our order straight away. That would have made way more sense. The "Starbucks coffee" served at the cafe was disgusting and a far cry from the...

Location was great, nice amenities, yoga, gym, pool. We were at the Lannia -area— the room was old, smelled of chlorine, sliding door was heavy kept coming off track, the bed was comfy but the Pillows were awful absolutely no support. The $41 per night for parking is almost a dealbreaker.

Pros (+) Beds are comfortable, good coffee, nice view, clean bathroom.
Cons (-) Staff. When talking about the view I would have when I checked in she just shrugged and said all grumpy “well it’s gonna be dark soon anyway!”. This was firstly rude. Also ridiculous because the view at night is beautiful. But very off putting right when I’m checking in and getting charged more than anticipated for parking when you have a lot on the premise! Then when I wanted to stay another nigh...

Pros (+) Friendly staff. Centrally located to what I needed to do. It’s a close drive to downtown and Point Loma.
Cons (-) The cleanliness could have been better in my room. There was little pieces of trash on the floor. Due to COVID-19, I wipe down all surfaces so I noticed more dirt.
