It is a very old hotel with very old furniture and installations. Service is mediocre at best, as nobody cares to even answer the phone, whether it’s housekeeping, room service, special services of the front desk.

Cons (-) Bedding was dirty upon check in, no free water in room, toiletries were not replenished. Check in was quick and they accommodated is early which was nice.

Pros (+) We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and have loved it. The building is beautiful and the lobby/main area are spectacular.
Cons (-) The hotel was full with a conference of some sort. The gentleman that checked us in couldn’t care about us. We’ve loved this hotel in the past but I think this was our last visit there. The room was mediocre, the staff was mediocre, I was very disappointed.

Pros (+) The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The location was terrific in relation to many sights. Can walk to Spanish Steps & many others. Hotel is clean, beautiful & basically comfortable.
Cons (-) I visited in December and with the heat turned up to high I wasn't able to get the room warm enough. That is my only complaint.
