Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location and proximity to local attractions, as well as the friendliness of some staff members. However, many reviews highlighted significant issues with cleanliness, bathroom facilities, and bed comfort, with multiple mentions of unpleasant odors, mold, maintenance problems, and dated decor. While a few guests found the value for money acceptable and enjoyed the atmosphere in the pub or courtyard, the overall experience was marred by poor room conditions and inconsistent service.

Wonderful

Pros (+) Friendly, helpful staff. Not a mass Decent size room. Our room was in a little mews separate from and behind the Inn itself so quiet and secluded.
Cons (-) No wifi in room. You were always welcome to sit in the bar and use wifi there, even when it was closed to the public. Also, an excellent breakfast (full English if you wanted) was included.
