Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent location in Richmond and its proximity to the town center, shops, and market square. Many reviews mention friendly and welcoming staff, as well as a pleasant pub atmosphere. However, there are frequent complaints about the quality and variety of breakfast, inconsistent cleanliness, and occasional maintenance issues in rooms and bathrooms.
