Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, often highlighting its proximity to local attractions like the railway. The staff were frequently described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience. Many appreciated the historic charm and unique atmosphere of the building. Cleanliness was generally noted as a positive aspect, and several guests enjoyed the breakfast offerings. However, some reviews mentioned that room sizes were small and that the hotel showed signs of being dated, with occasional issues such as noise or heating. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, especially for those seeking a memorable and convenient stay.
