The front desk staff was wonderful. That's where the good ends. The stairs leading up to the room were filthy. The carpet in the room was sticky. We couldn't walk on it without shoes on. The shower had 3 completely empty bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I mean there wasn't even one drop in them. Would not stay again.

Wonderful

Pros (+) The suite was perfect. Clean and quiet. Bed was a dream. Nice to have a separate room to stay up and read. Breakfast was okay. Not restaurant quality, but filling and plenty of choices.
Cons (-) The hotel was BOOKED...but that was because it was that good and the price were reasonable. Still not an issue. Not rowdy. Mostly military personnel who seemed to be moving with legendary efficiency to whatever was next for them.

Pros (+) The staff is amazingly nice. Gave us another room when our first one was unacceptable.
Cons (-) We had to get another room because the first one was dirty. The closet door was detached. The paint was coming off. It’s really old and could use an update.

Pros (+) Breakfast was great
Cons (-) It was slightly dingy but we were there for a quick stop driving back from Boston to NC. We were exhausted and would have stayed anywhere.
