Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel for its excellent location, especially for those walking the Coast to Coast path, and the very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast, particularly the continental selection with fresh fruit, was a highlight for many. While some guests noted issues with room size, cleanliness, and value for price, the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The hotel’s pub and evening meals also received positive mentions, and the hotel was seen as a great stopover for hikers. Some minor complaints included noise, bathroom maintenance, and breakfast management, but these did not overshadow the positive experiences.
