Many guests praised the hotel's beautiful building, central location, and some aspects of service, such as helpful reception staff and attentive restaurant service. Cleanliness and room comfort were also positively mentioned by several guests. However, there were recurring complaints about the surrounding neighborhood being unsafe or dirty, inconsistent service quality at the reception, issues with billing and communication, and problems with amenities like Wi-Fi and room comfort. We spent two nights here during our stay in Naples. The hotel was safe and generally pretty quiet. It had a cool vibe with it being an old palace. The breakfast that was ink used each morning was great! The only drawbacks were that the WiFi was basically non-existent in our room. Also the hair dryer and stand up shower did not work. The staff was quick to send a replacement hair dryer to our room ...

Pros (+) Common spaces were beautiful and location great. Restaurant was delicious for dinner.
Cons (-) Sub-par rooms, no kettle in room, clueless staff (nobody knew what a bath mat was, for example), broken fridge they wouldn’t fix (they said it’s supposed to be warm!), took 30 minutes to get my car (they had said 15 minutes), also no breakfast. Stayed at a much cheaper and nicer hotel down the block. Wish I had booked that hotel for my days in Naples! You can get much better value than this hotel....

Pros (+) Loved the area - very old area of the city. Neighborhood is very real (not glitzy or pretentious) and gives a view of the quotidian Napoli. Some of the oldest and best pizzerias are in this area.
Cons (-) Key cards did not work reliably for rooms

Pros (+) Beautiful courtyard with inexpensive breakfast that is all natural and organic including traditional Italian meats
Cons (-) The gym facilities are terrible for weightlifting. Good for cardio.
