Michael, Oct 2026
The newly remodeled rooms at the Rio are beautiful, super clean, and spacious. I loved the L shaped couch and the quirky little coffee table and the huge flat screen TV. Most of the casino was busy, but the far eastern side where at one time they had the carnival in the sky was a little sad and dowdy. I ate at several restaurants and the food was very good if a bit pricey . The pool area was huge ...

The front staff was not nice and your bell boy got a tip and I find it in the corner of the hallway. My stay was not nice and my wife is handicap and I had a room on the 28th floor with no handicap shower and the shower was clogged and it took 3 hours to fix it and no housekeeper came to clean my room the 3 days I was there too

There is no way to talk to the front desk. Can't call from the room. phones didn't work. Even calling the hotel from my cell the AI Robot "Rita" answers. Useless. Had to walk 1/2 mile from the old tower to the front desk just to get TP and Kleenex.

Rio is on older hotel. You're getting value for your money, not a true Vegas experience.

Kayak listed prepaid price as TOTAL price with all fees included. Hotel tacked on bogus $45 resort fee. Hotel and Kayak would not refund when I refused to pay additional fee and cancelled reservation.
