Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praise the hotel's excellent location, especially its proximity to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for travel and sightseeing. Many found the rooms clean and the staff helpful. However, several guests were dissatisfied with the small room sizes, uncomfortable beds, and issues with bathroom cleanliness, such as unpleasant odors and weak water pressure. Housekeeping and amenities also received some criticism, but overall, the location remains the standout feature.

Wonderful

Pros (+) Convenient and more regular size rooms and bathrooms than other similar hotels in japan. Good selection for breakfast.

Mark, Dec 2016
Pros (+) The hotel is right across from the train station. The room provides all the basic necessities in a very tight space. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night to provide a good night sleep.
Cons (-) The room seemed overpriced and the seller required the room be paid in advanced with a poor cancellation policy. The next time I book a room in Kyoto I will look further in advance and check the fine print better.
