Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent central location, making it easy to explore the city and access attractions. Many appreciated the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The breakfast received positive remarks for its variety and quality. The pool and leisure facilities were also a highlight for several guests. However, some reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness, dated decor, and occasional noise, and a few guests experienced problems with the bathrooms or room maintenance. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, and many guests expressed intentions to return.

Pros (+) The location was close to all of the medevil sites in Kilkenny as well as to the local bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the Irish music at the local pubs.
Cons (-) The hotel is in the process of updating its rooms. We were in one which hadn’t yet been updated. The room was clean, but in need of updating.
