Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and the charming, historic atmosphere. Many appreciate the beautiful building, lovely grounds, and good breakfast offerings. However, several reviews mention that the hotel is run down, with dated decor, maintenance issues, and areas in need of refurbishment. Cleanliness receives mixed feedback, with some rooms described as pristine and others as dirty or mouldy. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience is positive for guests who value character, service, and setting.
