Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, beautiful views, and attractive historic property. However, many reviews noted issues with cleanliness, such as musty smells, dirty carpets, and maintenance problems in bathrooms. Service was mixed, with some guests experiencing excellent customer care and others reporting unhelpful staff. Amenities like the pool, restaurants, and vending machines were sometimes unavailable or unsatisfactory. Bed comfort and room temperature were also common sources of complaint. Overall, the hotel's location and aesthetics stood out as highlights, but improvements are needed in cleanliness, amenities, and comfort.

Pros (+) My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there. We had our kids with us the first night. The room was comfy and the kids enjoyed the playing the the pool. After dropping off the kids, we had a second night to ourselves. The staff were great and we loved the room.
Cons (-) The pool was cold. I mean, COLD! My daughter's lips turned blue! It didn't stop her from playing, but it really limited me in playing with her in the water.

Cons (-) I was traveling on business for a conference. My outbound flight was canceled due to bad weather, and I wasn't able to get in until the following evening which would make me miss the entire conference. So I called the hotel to explain my circumstances. However, the hotel has a strict no-refund policy no matter the situation. They were completely unwilling to provide a refund, partial refund or eve...
