Guests consistently praised the hotel's location, especially the views of the loch and proximity to Fort William and Ben Nevis. Some guests found the staff friendly and accommodating, and a few mentioned comfortable beds and good breakfast options. However, cleanliness was a recurring issue, with several reviews noting dusty rooms, dated facilities, and maintenance problems. Service quality varied, with some positive experiences but also complaints about rude or inattentive staff. Breakfast received mixed feedback, with both positive and negative comments about quality and availability. Overall, the location and views were the standout positives, while cleanliness and service inconsistencies were the main drawbacks.

Pros (+) We needed one night before the Harry Potter train, and the location worked.
Cons (-) We were switched to this hotel because of overbooking at another. Food was just okay - geriatric tour group quality. Room 424 had an odd, off putting odor, and the floors were terribly squeaky.
