Summary of reviews

Guests say
Most guests praise the hotel's central location, making it easy to access local attractions, restaurants, and the historic train station. The unique historic atmosphere and decor, including period-style bars and live music, are frequently highlighted as standout features. However, several guests mention the lack of breakfast options and issues with noise from air conditioning or nearby parking. Some also note discomfort with the beds and small bathrooms. Overall, the hotel's charm and location are its biggest draws, despite a few practical shortcomings.

Cons (-) Room was very hot. I tried to cool it down but the thermostat was locked at set temperature. In all fairness , I could have called the front desk to ask if anything could have been done.

Pros (+) Our stay at the Strater Hotel was very nice. We wanted a taste of the The West, and we certainly got it. I felt like I was staying in Miss Kitty's room! Great location.
Cons (-) The only thing I can say is I wish there were better pillows.
