Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel's central and convenient location, making it ideal for sightseeing and events. Many found the rooms and lobby generally clean, though some noted issues with dirty linens, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance lapses. Service was described as friendly and helpful by several guests, but others experienced lapses in housekeeping, slow response to requests, or confusing elevator operation. Additional fees and value for price were a recurring concern. Overall, the location and staff were highlights, while cleanliness and service consistency could be improved.

JoAnna, Aug 2023
We have always enjoyed staying at this hotel. It’s modern, beautiful, and in a great location. However, this was our 7th stay here and the service was abysmal. Two different nights we tried to order room service and the phone was never answered, even trying the front desk went unanswered. Our room was never cleaned over a 3 night stay even though we were out of it by 9 am each day. The one night w...

Pros (+) I liked the bell service downstairs and the local area. Felt safe and the touch key cards were cool.
Cons (-) For paying the price I did, including WiFi in the stay would seem like a no brainer. $300+ a night? Our mini fridge wasn’t stocked and someone else’s cream cheese was still in it. For being a 4-star hotel I just expected more from the actual hotel. The area and the restaurant/ bar attached was great and they were very accommodating to making sure people were comfortable on the hot day.

Pros (+) Front desk rep Rory was great! He was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a room upgrade and showed us some locations on a city map to help us get our bearings of the city. The bellman was great as well by pointing us to a great jazz bar and a great breakfast place. He was right. They were both a great experience.

Cons (-) Parking is very expensive.

Pros (+) Location is good. Lot of walkable options around the hotel.
Cons (-) Seemed like the operations of the room maintenance needs some work.. from TV to furnace, to hot water. Finishing that don’t match to namer a few. Food options are limited, with nothing after 11.

Pros (+) The location is good.
Cons (-) The hotel feels dated. The fitness center is really tiny and, of course, lacking. The bathroom is unnecessarily huge yet the amenities are few.

Cons (-) I was here Sunday through Friday. My sink broke on Tuesday and was never repaired. They changed the towels and made the bed, but didn't clean the room. I shutter to think what the sticky substance on the bedside table was. I didn't eat any gummy candies, but kept finding bits of said candies in the room. Clearly, it hasn't been cleaned in awhile.

Pros (+) I really liked the location of this hotel. Even though I booked it for a friend, I was next door at the Westin. One thing I REALLY loved was the fact that you need a key to use the elevators to go onto the floors. That was a perk.
Cons (-) BUT. My room wasn't 100% cleaned. When I went to check in, I went up to the room and looked it over. There was leftover food in the mini fridge, there was a few bottles of alcoholic drinks missing that Im hoping Im not going to be charged for, even thought house keeping came up and told me I wouldn't be charged. NOT only that, there were condoms(unused) and a bottle of lube left in the room. My on...
