Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's central location, which is close to local attractions, venues, and the UC Berkeley campus. Some reviewers found the rooms clean and comfortable, and noted helpful staff and good value for the price. However, many guests expressed concerns about cleanliness, outdated facilities, shared bathrooms, and limited amenities. Noise, lack of parking, and issues with room size or comfort were also mentioned. Overall, the location is the standout positive, but cleanliness and facility updates are needed.

Pros (+) staff & location
Cons (-) after traveling for 2 years for my work around the world, this was the only hotel without cable (news) television. only local. even the cheapest motels have cable or satellite tv. and it was dirty--the microwave smelled, the carpet was dusty and food mess on the table.
