Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's cleanliness, modern rooms, and well-kept facilities. The restaurant received positive remarks for its quality and attentive service, and the location was appreciated for its convenience, especially to the airport. However, many guests experienced significant noise issues from the bar, pool, and street, and some encountered problems with service, such as communication, double charges, and shuttle arrangements. While staff friendliness and helpfulness were mentioned, experiences varied. Overall, the hotel is seen as clean and comfortable, with a good restaurant and a convenient location, but noise and occasional service lapses detracted from some stays.

Pros (+) Staff very friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. Beautiful pool and courtyard. Food at the restaurant was decent. Location to airport great.
Cons (-) The power would go off and on sporadically. Gift shop credit card system was down.

Poor

Pros (+) Staff were nice.
Cons (-) The first room we got smelled horrible and it made me throw up. It also had flys. I asked to be changed and luckily they had an "extra" room and hoped that person wouldn't check in. Second room was better. shower looked dirty and bathtub was scraped. I decided to stay closer to the airport a day before flying back home since we were staying in San Pedro. Big mistake as I was so uncomfortable.

Pros (+) The rooms and property were great. Really nice spot in a otherwise bad city.
Cons (-) The restaurant staff were inattentive and the food was poor. We had trouble finding the waiter but when it came time to tip she hovered over us until we finished....
